How to make a loop in batch.

Again for people who may have trouble making a a echo "loop" itself in batch. This tutorial would be for you I'm sure most all of you done know how so this is for that one lonely person who doesn't .

to begin you well pull up ur notepad!

now to do a simple loop of a sentence here would be the code.!

Code:

@echo off
title Program
color 04
echo I well now loop the sentence . "How are you?" when you press a key.
pause
:a
echo How are you?
goto :a

Ok, Now all you do is copy and paste that into your notepad.

Edit it. to your liking.

Save it as (anyname).bat and also remember to save it as "all files"

I'm sorry I TRYING to think of some in-game but some people are starting to get intrested in batch seems like also so I like to help them to.

Kai, A batch file is a "text file containing a series of commands to be executed by Command Prompt (CMD). When a batch file is run, CMD reads the file and executes its commands."

Echo in my words allows your words to show up in the program.
if i was to type this into a batch code
hi
It would display a 'hi' error or something along those lines.
So to make the word hi show up in the program you would type

@echo off
title hi
color 02
echo hi
pause

Now I know you did not ask me in anyway to decode this into simple matter for you but I well anyway.
The "@Echo off" basically makes your batch file neat and not messy. with things like c:\documents and ect...
the title is displayed in the in the outlining of the program in the top..
color is the color of the foreground and back ground as in foreground i mean the text color.
echo displays the word hi
and pause makes the program stay until you press a key telling to go on and nothing would be left to go on to so it would simply close out.
